Think & Do Camden was launched in 2019 by Camden Council and local eco-activists following Camden Council's Citizens' Assembly on the Climate CrisisOriginally it was established as a pop-up space in an unused shop owned by Camden Council in Kentish Town to foster community-driven, sustainable solutions to the climate crisis. Various projects like the Camden Forest emerged

Taking root

Think&Do Camden's new and existing projects spread, like new trees taking root (or a mycorrhizal network) across the borough.  See website for info on projects. Social and ecological justice projects were launched as part of T&D’s mission.

For example, as part of our Communi-Tree project (pictured) we plant fruit and ornamental trees on Camden estates.

To date (2026), we have planted 321 trees on Camden's housing estates
