What ifwe build community in the face of climate change?

What if we could help tackle inequality of opportunity amongst underserved communities by creating … Green Sparks?

What ifwe foster resilience through our communities?

What ifwe come together to support one another?

Climate change, increased social injustice, and ecological breakdown are changing the way in which we live our lives. Individually, this change can be daunting, but together as communities, we can build resilience. We can support each other in the face of this change. Our resilient community projects,  demonstrate the impact we can have when we join together.

If you are a London Council who is interested in partnering with us to co-design and deliver a project to help build community resilience, get in touch.

For 2026 we think there is a lot of work to be done in the areas of helping residents tackle poor indoor air quality and overheating, particularly on estates.

*Coming Soon*: The Resilience Rangers
We hope to soon begin our project ‘Reslience Rangers’. This will be a programme where residents are trained to deliver peer-to-peer advice on key climate resilience topics. They will be on a mission to share the information they have learned to help their communities live greener, more climate-resilient lives.

These Resilience Rangers will be recruited with support from a Council Community Champions programme. We will look to encourage individuals from underrepresented communities, particularly those from Global Majority backgrounds, who have faced inequality of opportunity, to be involved in the project.

The training programme will cover the following topics:

  • Indoor Air Quality
  • How to Stay Healthy in a Heatwave
  • Energy Saving Advice
