Watch out for the launch of our new circular community project: InstaGramps
Instagramps: Is a new inter-generational project which aims to also help tackle the impact of social isolation and loneliness amongst isolated and underserved London residents.
It’s easy to assume that this primarily affects older people, however younger people aged 16-24 actually report higher levels of loneliness, and both of these age groups are at increased risk.

What if … We could reduce the impacts of social isolation and loneliness by bringing different generations together to share stories and skills for a better future? Older people may struggle more often with technology, yet have a lifetime of experience and practical skills to share. What if younger people could benefit from hearing these stories and learning those skills, and could, in turn, support older, digitally excluded people getting online?
What if … We could pair this with community repair events, endangered skills repair sessions, mining your mobile sessions, all to raise awareness about waste and extend the lifespan of our items?
InstaGramps not only focuses on repairing items, but also on repairing relationships and creating resilient communities
We are looking for partners for this project. If you would be interested in partnering with us please email us: info@thinkanddocamden.org.uk
